We interrupt this scheduled broadcast to remind you to take a break and take care of yourself!
Hey, this is MK from Sarcastic Scribblings!I'm going to be filling in for Lia today! Most of these things can be done in 10-15 min (because who's got time for more than that?) so hopefully these tips will be easy to use and you'll have no problem squeezing them into your day!
1. Call a friend
2. Journal. About how you feel, write down your movie watch list, or just doodle clouds.
3. FIND AND PET A DOG
4. Take a 10 min break and do NOTHING
5. Go outside (or find some sunshine by a window) and sit or walk or stretch for 10 min. LIVE YOUR SUNFLOWER DREAMS
6. Make some nice warm tea (or nice cool tea, but a warm drink is more comforting...Scientifically anyway)
7. Listen to some music that makes you happy
8. DRINK SOME WATER
9. Power Nap (Easier said than done...once I fall asleep, its 3-5 hours) But maybe plan a break in your schedule so you can take a nap later or go to sleep sooner?
10. Deep, slow breathing
11. Read some inspirational quotes! (Or funny quotes from a book)
12. Do some jumping jacks. Like, 15 to 20.
13. Write a letter
14. Write a quick poem
15. Or read some poetry
16. Or read a magazine article
17. (Or a blog post)
18. Get a healthy but tasty snack! (No eating things that will make you feel bad later!)
19. Take some time to learn a new word in that language you're studying.
20. Eat some chocolate
21. Declutter your work space. Sitting on an unmade bed? Make it. Surrounded by piles of random papers? CLEAN. IT. UP
22. Face masks. Just slather it on and chill for 10-15 min
23. Try a new recipe
24. Take a shower and put on clean comfy clothes
25. BUT SERIOUSLY. TAKE A NAP???
And that's it peeps!
Be sure to pop down to the comments and let us know what self care and stress relief tips you have!

DeleteSUCH a great post! I'm with you on Power Naps, though--no can do. :) I do love taking a reading break, and DECLUTTERING! Seriously, what about that is so stress relieving? Going outside to hang out with our goats always makes me less stressed, too.
