the keys are soft beneath my fingers

i close my eyes and softly begin to play 

as the notes echo in this dark and empty room 

i can almost feel you beside me 

placing your hands over mine and teaching me to make music 


thank you for this gift 

i shall never forget the way we played together 

and the way i play now that you are gone 


(loosely based on Wake Up from Julie and the Phantoms) 





March has been kinda meh. i've been working, eating, and sleeping. Repeat.... 

I did go to a young adult night so that was fun! 

HOWEVER! did anyone see the official Shadow and Bone trailer that dropped 3/30!!!!! KAZ HAD LINES!! THE DARKLING!!!!!!! AAAAAAA also Mal and Alina!!!! so cute!!
