Hello all!
So if you haven't heard Netflix is currently adapting Six of Crows/The Grisha Trilogy into a TV show. To say that i was excited when i heard would be an understatement. Then over the weekend, it was announced that the Selection series by Kiera Cass would be adapted for Netflix. They have not yet said whether it is to be a movie or a TV show but i'm hoping for the latter.
But then it got me thinking, what other YA series would be good for a TV show?? And i think i have come up with a good list with something for everyone. :)
1. The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer.
This book series has something for all types of TV show lovers. Sci-fi, fairy tales, and romance. As long as they get the casting right, i believe that this would be a great TV show. Think of all the iconic moments that could be played out on the screen. I'm fangirling just thinking about it!!
2. The Gallagher Girls by Ally Carter.
If i've said it once, i've said it a thousand times, if you haven't read Gallagher Girls, now is the perfect time to do so!!! Its an amazing series and i would love to see it as a TV show. Boarding school, girl spies, and a mansion with secret passageways!!! What more could you want!! (also this is me personally but the chance to see Zachery Goode on my TV screen..... *fans self*)
The Rangers Apprentice by John Flanagan
This has the opportunity to be like a Game of Thrones like TV show but not GOT cause ew. But a fantasy, medieval type of show like Merlin. Sign me the heck up for that.
So Netflix, I'm gonna need you to read this post and get right on making these, ok?
